Howard O Bernstein PC
Howard O. Bernstein utilizes his business, tax, and law background to help companies expand domestically and internationally. He counsels companies concerning the proper choice of entity, evaluates the various alternatives for structuring business transactions and relationships, and reviews and drafts the necessary documents. His practice also includes estate planning, domestic and international tax planning, tax controversies, and employment matters.

Mr. Bernstein, who is a California CPA as well as a member of the Colorado bar, is the current president of the Colorado chapter of the American Academy of Attorney-CPAs and serves on the AAA-CPA's Executive Committee. He began his career in public accounting, where he gained his first exposure to international business by chance: he was tapped as the international specialist in 1979 when an overseas assignment conflicted with everyone else's schedule.

Mr. Bernstein lectures on legal ethics, taxation, employment, and international law topics for lawyers, and is a regular moderator at the Conference on World Affairs at the University of Colorado. Mr. Bernstein graduated from Columbia University with honors in psychology. He earned an M.B.A. in accounting from Cornell University and an A.P.C. in corporate financial management from New York University prior to earning his J.D. from the University of Colorado.
