Stephanie J. Neitzel
NeitzelWater, LLCStephanie J. Neitzel began her career practicing as a civil engineer in south Florida and is licensed as a professional engineer in Florida and Colorado. She has B.S. degrees in civil engineering and architectural engineering from University of Miami, Florida, and an M.S. in environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University. She was the project engineer for the preliminary engineering and environmental studies for the Port of Miami undersea tunnel, a recently completed $1 billion project. After graduating from the University of Denver College of Law in 1994, Ms. Neitzel’s practice has focused in water law. She initially worked in private practice and was special counsel to Duncan, Ostrander & Dingess, P.C. Additionally, Ms. Neitzel was a lecturer of the Engineering Aspects of Colorado Water Law at the University of Colorado at Denver in 1996, and for several years authored the “Water Law” chapter of the Annual Survey of Colorado Law. In 2015, she accepted a position as Assistant City Attorney for the Water Resources Department at the City of Aurora.
