Paul E. Gross

Paul Gross is a founding partner and the managing partner of Gross Hartman. Paul's practice focuses on the representation of emerging technology and life sciences and medical device companies and the venture capital and private equity firms that invest in those companies. He counsels clients in the full range of corporate and securities matters, including public and private financing transactions, employee incentive programs, mergers and acquisitions, strategic corporate relationships and corporate governance. Paul also has extensive experience in the formation of venture capital funds and regularly advises funds on maintenance and compliance issues. Prior to starting Gross Hartman, Paul was a partner with Cooley LLP from 1998 until March 2010. Before attending law school, Paul was an active duty Naval officer, serving in Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams and on minesweepers. Paul received his law degree from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy.
