Daniel S. Young
Adsero IP, LLCDaniel S. Young, Esq. is a partner with the firm of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP. He focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation and counseling. He has first- and second-chaired trials before federal courts throughout the United States, before the United States International Trade Commission and in private arbitration. Mr. Young has litigated patents covering a wide range of technologies, including semiconductor processing, telecommunications, memory systems, software and financial transactions. He has also litigated a number of trademark and copyright cases. In addition to litigation, Mr. Young counsels clients on a wide range of intellectual property licensing issues, including drafting and negotiating software and patent licenses. Mr. Young currently serves as the Vice-President of the Colorado Intellectual Property American Inn of Court. Before joining the legal profession, Mr. Young served as an engineer officer in the United States Army and United States Army Reserve. He also worked for several years as a consulting engineer. Mr. Young received a B.S in civil engineering from the United States Military Academy in 1994 and a J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law in 2001.
