KK K. DuVivier

Professor KK DuVivier, Esq., has taught at the law school level for over 30 years. She began at the University of Colorado School of Law in 1990 and joined the Denver Law faculty in 2000. DU named Professor DuVivier the John A. Carver Chair in Natural Resources Law in 2020, and her primary scholarship focus is energy law. For 8 years before entering academia, Professor DuVivier was an associate at nationally and locally recognized firms such as Arnold & Porter and Sherman & Howard, and she also worked as an Assistant City Attorney for the City and County of Denver. She prepared wills during her years in practice, taught Wills & Trusts at the University of Colorado, and has served as a supervising attorney for several of the Tribal Wills trips.
