Judge John A. Criswell was appointed to the Colorado Court of Appeals in 1986. He attended the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and the University of Denver, and earned his law degree from the University of Denver College of Law. Judge Criswell is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Colorado Bar Foundation. He is an arbitrator and mediator in employment and labor disputes. He is on the American Arbitration Association's panel of employment and labor arbitrators and is on the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service's panel of labor arbitrators.
