Laura E. Shapiro, Esq., began her legal career in 1977 in New York. In 1979, she moved to Colorado and began her Colorado career as a lawyer with the Colorado Rural Legal Services and later with the Colorado Attorney General's office. In 1987, Laura began focusing solely on divorce and family law matters. She started this focus working with the Law Office of Stephen J. Harhai and later, Malman & Malman. She has been a speaker on family law issues and has written several articles on issues relating to children, property division and divorce issues.
