Phil Barber, Esq., practices in the areas of natural resources law and commercial litigation.  He has authored many publications and is a frequent speaker to legal and industry groups regarding business and energy litigation, and oil and gas law. Phil has successfully represented immigration clients as a volunteer attorney for the Rocky Mountain Immigration Advocacy Network, including two asylum cases for Eritrean refugees and several withholding of removal cases.  He serves on non-profit boards, including Capitol Hill Community Services, Friends of the Denver School of the Arts, and Colorado Ceasefire.  He attended the Pueblo, Colorado public schools, graduated magna cum laude with high distinction from Dartmouth College in 1975, and received his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1979.
