Edward B. Cordes is the founder and a managing director of Cordes & Company. For 35 years, Ed has provided forensic accounting, economic damage determinations, restructuring strategies, and business valuation services in loan workouts, bankruptcies, insurance claim disputes, and civil and marital litigation. Using his broad-based experience, he is often called upon to assess business condition and assist in the foundation of a strategy to resolve financial and management issues in both financially stressed and quarreling partner situations. He serves as an expert witness in court and arbitration proceedings. Because of his vast experience with distressed businesses, Ed is a popular speaker before audiences who deal with these issues. Ed is a certified public accountant, a certified fraud examiner and a certified valuation analyst. He is past national chairman of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
