Les Katz, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of Colorado. He is a partner in Katz & Loizeaux Forensic Services, LLC, which provides psychological expertise in family law matters and training seminars for professionals working with high-conflict divorcing families. Dr. Katz received his doctorate degree from the University of Denver School of Professional Psychology in 1981 and has been licensed since 1984. He specializes in divorce and remarriage issues. He provides parenting time and parental responsibility evaluations, child and family investigations, consultation to attorneys, and supervision to other professionals. Dr. Katz co-chaired the Denver Interdisciplinary Committee that produced the March 2001 Special Advocate Guidelines. Dr. Katz has also chaired that organization's committees that develop guidelines for parental responsibility evaluators. He has also taught classes on forensic psychology and family system therapy to graduate psychological students at the University of Denver. Dr. Katz has served as a member of the Colorado Psychological Association Association's Ethics Committee. He is a member of the Colorado Supreme Court's Standing Committee on Family Issues and helped develop the Special Advocate (now CFI) Standards. He belongs to the following organizations: American Psychological Association, Metropolitan Denver Interdisciplinary Committee, and Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
