Richard F. Spiegle

Richard F. Spiegle, Psy.D., is a forensic and clinical psychologist, licensed in the State of Colorado with over 40 years of experience. He received his Doctor of Psychology degree from the University of Denver in 1979. Dr. Spiegle continues his affiliation with the University of Denver as a Clinical Affiliate and provides clinical supervision and training to graduate students. He is a frequent speaker at professional meetings and continuing legal educational seminars on various topics related to psychological and forensic issues and he has co-authored 4 articles that appear in the Colorado Lawyer and the Colorado Trust & Estate Section, Council Notes. Dr. Spiegle's background, in addition to forensic practice, includes many years of consultation in such settings as Head Start, Federal Corrections, and Child Protection Services and for agencies serving the developmentally disabled. He provided services as a staff psychologist in a community mental health setting where he was the Coordinator of After-hours Emergency Services, Continuity of Care, and Hospital Services at the same agency. He completed mediation training at the nationally acclaimed Center for Dispute Resolution in Boulder, Colorado. Subsequent to that, he co-founded a professional mediation practice. He completed approximately 350 hours of training at the Neurosculpting® Institute and received his Diploma of Certification in September 2017.  He has served on boards of director for several human services and mental health organizations. Dr. Spiegle has been married for over 37 years, has seven children, and has lived in Colorado for over 46 years.
