David K. Johns

David K. Johns is a practitioner and adjunct professor of law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. A native of Denver, he received his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado (1983) and his law degree from the University of Denver (1990). Mr. Johns is the author of numerous articles and has lectured to attorneys on estate planning issues at local, state, and national conferences. He served twice as a Council member of the CBA Trust and Estate Section and is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Johns is managing editor of The Green Book: Selected Colorado Materials on Wills, Estates, Trusts and Taxes, co-editor of the Colorado Estate Planning Handbook, and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
