Irvin Borenstein’s practice focuses primarily on creditors’ rights. He represents creditors in both retail and commercial matters in Colorado as well as in several other states. He also represents individuals and entities in defense of claims brought under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Telephone Communications Protection Act, and represents clients before regulatory agencies regarding compliance with consumer rights laws and regulations. He has lectured frequently on creditors’ rights issues.
Mr. Borenstein graduated from Binghamton University and graduated with honors from Vermont Law School in 1980. He is admitted to practice in New York and Colorado. Mr. Borenstein is a member of the Denver and Colorado bar associations and is a member of the Thompson G. Marsh Inn of Court.
