Raymond P. Moore

US District Court for the District of Colorado
Honorable Raymond P. Moore was nominated to the United States District Court for the District of Colorado by President Barack Obama in November 2012, and was confirmed in March 2013. He was previously the federal public defender for the Districts of Colorado and Wyoming, a position he held since 2004. Previously, Judge Moore was an assistant federal public defender in Colorado from 1993 through 2003. From 1986 through 1992, Moore worked at the law firm of Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, becoming a partner in 1987. He spent four years, from 1982 to 1986, as an assistant U.S. attorney in Colorado. He began his legal career as an associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs from 1978 to 1982.
