Matthew Jarvinen, J.D., has broad experience in the fields of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and labor-management relations. Matt retired in 2014 from the Federal Labor Relations Authority where he most recently served as the Denver Regional Director from 2004 - 2014. As Regional Director, Matt was a member of the Senior Executive Service, exercised program direction and leadership over the Federal labor relations program, and spearheaded the Region's ADR efforts. Matt has been a Labor Arbitrator since 2005 on the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service roster, and conducts workplace investigations, facilitations, and training sessions on a contract basis. Matt is a professional member of the Mediation Association of Colorado. He obtained his B.A. from Wesleyan University and his law degree from George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C., and received both negotiation and mediation training at Harvard Law School's Program on Negotiation. For the last several years, Matt has also served as a mediation coach for many of the Colorado Bar Association's 40-hour mediation training programs.
