M. Lou . Raders
M. Lou Raders, Esq., is a partner in Kutak Rock's Denver office, and concentrates her practice in commercial real estate, real estate finance and related banking and litigation matters. She has been involved in the representation of numerous lenders in connection with loan originations, loan sales and loan portfolio management issues, including the origination of conduit loans and collateralized mortgage back loan securitizations. In the recent economic downturn, she has represented primarily lenders and special servicers in connection with foreclosures, receiverships, workouts and loan restructuring transactions. In addition to her lending finance practice, Ms. Raders represents developers, owners and operators of senior housing projects, including continuing care retirement communities, in the Denver area. In this regarding she has financed such projects through tax exempt bond financings as well as traditional construction to perm financings. She attended the University of Iowa, where she was Phi Beta Kappa, and received her B.A., with high distinction, in 1978 and her J.D., with distinction, in 1982. Ms. Raders joined Kutak Rock in 1983 after completing a judicial clerkship with the Iowa Court of Appeals.
