Andrea Till, Esq., is a Senior Corporate Counsel at Microsoft, providing legal counsel to AI Solution Engineering and Delivery teams. Based in Colorado, Andrea's expertise includes drafting and negotiating technology licensing and consulting services agreements for cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Andrea also assists in developing and implementing regulatory frameworks for AI-related global legislation, such as the EU AI Act and the EU Product Liability Directive and implementing responsible AI practices. Additionally, Andrea provides legal guidance on AI and IP issues in commercial transactions and serves as counsel for the AI Acceleration Studio, which creates AI toolkits and models. Prior to joining Microsoft, Andrea served as Division Counsel at Broadcom, handling complex engineering, development, manufacturing, and IP licensing for semiconductor and telecommunications ASIC/board businesses. Andrea also worked as Managing Counsel at Oracle America Inc., specializing in global supply chain and data center procurement contracting, and as Lead Counsel at Great West Life & Annuity Insurance Company, managing IT and vendor contracts for mergers and acquisitions. Andrea's in-house career began at Qwest Communications, where Andrea reviewed sales and marketing communications and advised on e-commerce and advertising activities.
