David G. Mayhan received his Bachelor of Science degree, and his Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the University of Iowa in 1985. Mr. Mayhan is a partner in the law firm of Butler Snow LLP in Denver. His civil litigation practice is focused on the defense of companies and individuals in a broad range of matters in litigation and arbitration. Mr. Mayhan has tried numerous cases to verdict in both state and federal courts, including those involving negligence, products liability, insurance coverage, and complex commercial litigation. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association (CDLA), the Defense Research Institute (DRI), and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. He has been a speaker at CDLA

and DRI conferences, has written several articles for The Colorado Lawyer, and has been named in Best Lawyers and a Colorado Super Lawyer since 2008. Mr. Mayhan is a former board member of the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association and chaired the CDLA Annual Trial Academy in 2016.
