David M. Tenner, Esq., is special counsel at the Denver law firm of Ridley, McGreevy & Winocur, where his judicial practice focuses on arbitration and special master work. He has been serving as an arbitrator since 2011 and currently serves on the American Arbitration Association’s Commercial, Large and Complex Case, and Employment Panels. David has been selected as Colorado’s Best Arbitrator by Law Week Colorado for eight of the last ten years. David has served as a special master in state and federal court cases, where he has been appointed to preside in 42 cases over the last 15 years. He served on the committee and was one of the drafters of the current Rule 53 of the Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure. He is a Fellow and serves on the Board of Directors of the Academy of Court-Appointed Masters, the national organization of special masters. David currently serves as President of the Academy. David is one of a handful of Colorado attorneys named by Best Lawyers in America in commercial litigation, arbitration, and mediation. He is a founding member of the William Doyle Inn of Court, Colorado’s first inn of court, where he has been a member for 35 years. He received his undergraduate degree from Colorado College in 1981 and received his law degree, with honors, from Georgetown University Law Center in 1985.
