Thomas J. Arckey's practice focuses on employment and business law and litigation. He has over 30 years' experience counseling and litigating matters in these areas for individuals and small businesses. His employment law practice includes working with individuals and small businesses involving issues of employment discrimination on the basis of sex, race, religion, age, or disability under federal statutes including Title VII, the ADAAA, the ADEA, ERISA, and the FMLA; state law employment claims; matters related to unfair competition, including noncompete agreements, and trade secrets; and executive compensation agreements.
Tom is a recognized authority in these areas, and was recognized as a Super Lawyer by Colorado Super Lawyers magazine in 2006-2009 and 2014-2019. He also received the Editorial Excellence Award from Trial Talk magazine in 2005, where he has served as an Employment Law Editor since 2003. He has authored many articles on employment law issues, including co-author and instructor of “Trade Secrecy and Non-Competition Covenants in Colorado.” Tom obtained his bachelor's degree from Florida State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law.
