Becky DeCook is a partner at Moye White where she serves as co-chair of the Employment practice group. She has extensive experience representing clients on a wide array of employment litigation matters before state and federal courts and administrative agencies, including employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, breach of express or implied employment agreements, violations of covenants not to compete and confidentiality agreements, and wage and hour class/collection actions, defamation, and other employment-related torts. She provides counsel to employers on a variety of employment law topics, including anticipating, avoiding, defending and resolving workplace issues, drafting employee handbooks and policies, employment agreements, separation agreements, covenants not to compete and confidentiality agreements, handling reductions in force, complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act, conducting internal investigations, and complying with state and federal wage and hour laws.
