1st Judicial District Court
Magistrate Chris Voisinet graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Philosophy in 1979 and from the University of Miami College of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 1984. He was in private practice for several years in Denver and Breckenridge before joining the Jefferson County Attorney's Office in May of 1988. As an Assistant County Attorney he specialized in child support and dependency & neglect cases. In May of 1997 he was appointed to his current magistrate position for the 1st Judicial District Court in Golden where his caseload is divided between juvenile and domestic cases. He has also served as past President of the Stingers Soccer Club in Evergreen. He and his wife Rhonda have been married for twenty-three years and have one son, Sean, who recently graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder School of Engineering.
