Edward (Ted) White is a practicing business lawyer in Denver, Colorado, where
he serves on the Management Committee and is a name partner of Moye White LLP.
Mr. White’s legal practice focuses on representing companies, and investors in complex transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and financings (public and private debt and equity placements) in the United States and internationally. In the course of his practice,
 
Mr. White provides in-depth advice to businesses regarding all aspects of their operations, from the selection and formation of the most appropriate entity for the
business to the negotiation and drafting of the many different agreements necessary to
conduct business.
 
Mr. White is also an arbitrator for complex commercial disputes through the American Arbitration Association. He is a former adjunct professor of law at the University of Colorado School of Law, where he designed and taught the popular Business Transactions course.
 
Mr. White is the founder and managing member of Estabrook Funds, a fund of
multi-strategy absolute return hedge funds.
 
Mr. White has a strong record of civic leadership which has included acting as Chairman of the Boettcher Foundation, one of the oldest and largest privately endowed grant making organizations in Colorado and as trustee for many community organizations,including: Advanced Energy Economy, Anne Waring Maer Charitable Fund, Colorado Historical Foundation, Denver Botanic Gardens, Denver Botanic Gardens Endowment, Graland Country Day School, Kent Denver School, Porter Adventist Hospital, Schlegel White Foundation, Rocky Mountain Institute, Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, Tenth Mountain Trail Association, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado, Webb-Waring Institute for Biomedical Research, and Webb-Waring Foundation.
 
Mr. White has been recognized as a leader in his field by many organizations and
publications, including Best Lawyers in America, Colorado “Super Lawyers,” Denver
Business Journal PowerBook and Law Week Colorado’s “Top Lawyer.” He was awarded “Best of Bar in International Trade and Finance” by the Denver Business Journal.
 
Mr. White attended Yale University and New York University School of Law.
