John H. Barrett has practiced law in Boulder since 1975. He received his law degree from the University of California at Davis. John has served as co-chair of the Family Law Committee and of the Solo/Small Practice Committee of the Boulder County Bar Association. He was the associate judge of the municipal court for the City of Louisville from 1990 to 2001. John is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, and the Boulder Interdisciplinary Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Lawyers Referral Service and has previously served as president of that organization.
