Thomas Peltz, Esq., is a partner in the Denver office of Kutak Rock LLP and is the co-chair of the law firm's Denver Public Finance Practice Group. He has over 30 years of experience in public finance and serves a wide variety of clients as lead bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriter's counsel in municipal financings for major infrastructure, school facility and other governmental projects. His experience includes general obligation bonds, excise tax revenue bonds, utility revenue bonds, tax increment bonds, lease-purchase financings and conduit obligations.  From his experience over the years in a significant number of public financings involving a variety of entities, from the State of Colorado to small local governments, and as the drafter of more than 250 ballot issues and ballot questions since January of 2000, Mr. Peltz has extensive practical knowledge in the area of public finance.  Mr. Peltz received a B.A. degree, magna cum laude, Yankton College in 1981 and a J.D. in 1984 from the University of Colorado at Boulder School of Law.  He is a member of the American Bar Association and of the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
