Jean Arnold, Esq., is a partner with Arnold & Arnold founded in 1994.  She is a licensed Colorado attorney. Her practice focuses on Real Estate and Construction Law, representing credit unions, lenders, landlords, construction managers, engineers, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.  She is a frequent presenter, teacher and corporate trainer on contracts, construction law, real estate, mechanic's liens, landlord-tenant law, secured transactions, creditor bankruptcy, collections and ethics topics. She graduated from the University of Denver, BSBA (Summa Cum Laude 1980), MBA and JD (1983). Jean is the Past Chair of the CBA Real Estate Section Council (Term 2020 - 2021). She is a co-author of Liens and Claims in Colorado, 1st, 2nd  and 3rd Eds., Gilbert Egle Editor (CLE in Colo., Inc. 2017 and 2019 and 2022); author of the Colorado sections of the Manual of Credit and Commercial Laws published bi-annually by the National Association of Credit Managers; co-author of The Construction Manager and the Design-Build Project - Design Professional and Construction Manager Law, published by the ABA, 2007; and co-author of “Is Colorado Becoming a Tenant-Friendly State? An Examination of the Mobile Home Park Act of 2010,” published in the DU Law Review Online, 2013; and author of Lexis Practice Note: CO Mechanic's Liens . Jean is a teacher, lecturer and trainer for CBA-CLE, NBI, American Society of Professional Estimators, NACM and other trade organizations. She is a Board Member for the American Society of Professional Estimators. She was an instructor for the AGC Legal topics curriculum for the Construction Management Certificate program at Red Rocks Community College through 2013.  She is an Adjunct Professor at Red Rocks Community College teaching: Small Business Management, Legal Aspects of Entrepreneurship; and Real Estate Brokers Contracts. She also directs, writes and sings with The Law Club. Her second language is American Sign Language.
