Honorable Charles M. Pratt was appointed to the Arapahoe District Court bench in 2005. Since October 2007 he has served as the Presiding Civil Court Judge. He has a BS in Economics and a Masters Degree in Business Administration in addition to his law degree, which he received in 1982 from the University Of Denver School Of Law. Before taking the bench he spent over twenty years as a commercial and civil trial lawyer with both national and regional law firms. He has lectured to both business and legal groups on a variety of legal matters including banking, real estate and insurance. In 2009 he was elected a fellow in the Advanced Science and Technology Adjudication Resource Center.
