Honorable Denise Lynch graduated summa cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1981. She specialized in a personal injury practice until 2002 when she became a Garfield County Assistant County Attorney. Judge Lynch was appointed to the bench as a District Court Judge in August of 2006. She presides over criminal, civil, domestic relations and probate cases.
