Bruce C. Bernstein is a 1970 cum laude graduate of the University of Denver College of Law. He has 50 years' experience in disability benefit denials, including both governmental programs and private disability insurance policies. In the past, he was a staff attorney with Metro Denver Legal Aid and was executive director of the Legal Center for People with Disabilities and Older People. Mr. Bernstein has been a sole practitioner since 1980. Currently, about two-thirds of his practice is disability benefit denials. His practice also includes debt relief, including bankruptcy and family law cases in which one or both spouses and/or a child/children have a serious disability. Mr. Bernstein is also a child and family investigator (CFI) for multiple Colorado family law district courts, and is a mediator.
