Douglas R. Tueller, Esq., has been providing business and legal advice to clients and actively participating in business ventures in various capacities throughout the United States and internationally since 1982. Over the years, Doug has been engaged in a number of entrepreneurial pursuits and has served in senior management-level and general counsel positions with privately-held real estate development and investment firms. These include associations ranging from small residential associations to highly complex mixed-use commercial, residential, and retail communities throughout the American West. Doug's work history includes Holme Roberts & Owens (now Bryan Cave HRO), Graham & James (now Squire Sanders), and The Disney Group. Doug has formed and has either chaired or served as general counsel for numerous domestic and international nonprofit entities; including: the Telluride Rotary Scholarship Committee since the early 1990s, Just for Kids Foundation, the Pinhead Institute, Telluride Arts, Mountains to Desert, and the Ah Haa School for the Arts. In 2014, he was elected chairman of the Rotary Foundation and he was appointed to the Colorado Bar Association Real Estate Section Committee in the summer of 2016. With Tueller & Gibbs, Doug recently has focused on matters involving Colorado Creative Districts, Arts Districts, and related redevelopment matters.
