Charles F. Reams, Esq., is an attorney at Reams & Reams, in Grand Junction, Colorado. He began his career as an insurance defense lawyer in 1983, alongside his father, Warren Reams, the founding member of the law firm. Eventually, he transitioned to trust and estate and personal injury. In 1991, Mr. Reams was appointed as the Public Administrator of the 21st Judicial District of Colorado. He specializes in administration and litigation of decedent’s estates and trusts, protective proceedings including guardianship and conservatorship matters, and real estate. He is the co-author of the CLE, “The Probate Process from Start to Finish” (December, 2010) and has held numerous clinics with the Pro Bono Project of Mesa County and Colorado Legal Services regarding basic estate planning questions and the pitfalls of preparing a Will or Trust incorrectly. He has been admitted as an expert witness in criminal, civil, protective proceedings, and wrongful death proceedings with an emphasis in estate issues. Charles is a graduate of University of Colorado for his graduate and Denver University for his law degree.
