Diane Carlton, Esq., has practiced family law for over 30 years. She is a partner in the firm of Litvak Litvak Mehrtens and Carlton, P.C. She specializes in handling cases with complex finances, unique issues, parenting disputes and cases requiring contested trials. She is a former Colorado public defender and municipal judge. Diane has served as past president of the Arapahoe Bar Association, and the Colorado chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She just completed a 6-year term on the national Board of Governors for the AAML. She is a member of numerous legal and family law organizations and has been appointed by the Supreme Court to several commissions including the Judicial Performance Committee for the 18th Judicial District, and the Alternative Defense Commission. Diane has been honored with being named in Best Lawyers in America, 5280 Top 20 Lawyers and Colorado 5280 Super Lawyers for family law and as one of the top 100 lawyers and top 50 women for all categories of law in Colorado in Super Lawyers.
