Peggy S. Ball

Peggy S. Ball is an Administrative Law Judge for the Colorado Springs Office of Hearings and Appeals.  She holds a B.S. degree from Colorado State University and an M.A. degree from The University of Northern Colorado.  She graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law, where she was an editor for the Idaho Law Review.  After graduating from law school, she worked in the Mesa County District Attorney's office, where she became Chief Trial Deputy and tried numerous cases up to and including capital crimes and arsons.  She has worked as an associate or shareholder with the following Colorado law firms:  Montgomery, Green & Jarvis; Pryor, Carney & Johnson, P.C.; Lapuyade, Washington & Molk, L.L.C., and Younge & Hockensmith  (Grand Junction).  She has been a member of the State Board of Architecture and several other governing and\or charitable organizations.  Her first two years as an Administrative Law Judge were spent in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  She has been with the Colorado Springs office since December 2003, and has twin sons who will soon turn 15.
