Larry C. Schwartz

10th Judicial District
Honorable Larry C. Schwartz was selected for the bench by Governor Ritter on March 26, 2008 and began serving July 1, 2008. Judge Schwartz began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney with the Pueblo County District Attorney's Office in November of 1982. He entered the private practice of law January 1, 1985 with the law firm of Drummond & Dougherty P.C. The firm became Drummond, Dougherty & Schwartz P.C. in 1988 and remained until July of 2008. Judge Schwartz practiced almost exclusively in the area of family law during his time in private practice. Judge Schwartz has handled dockets in criminal, civil and domestic since his appointment in 2008. Beginning in April of 2012, Judge Schwartz was appointed as the Division 2 Water Judge. He obtained his law degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1982.
