Forrest “Boogie” Lewis, Esq., is a criminal defense lawyer and civil litigator.  He received his J.D. from Baylor University in 1974, and accepted a position in the Colorado State Public Defender system headed by the legendary Rollie Rogers.  He worked as a deputy public defender until entering private practice in 1979.  He has written and spoken on ethics and other issues for many years.  He is a past-president of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar and the first recipient (1984) of its Jonathon Olom Award.
