Kenneth L. Salazar
50th U.S. Secretary of the InteriorHonorable Ken Salazar, Esq., served as the 50th US Secretary of the Interior, Colorado US Senator and Attorney General. As United States Senator, he led the efforts on the enactment of the 2005 Energy Policy Act, the 2006 Gulf of Mexico Security Act, and the 2007 Energy Independence and Security Act, and was recognized for his work with rural America and veterans. As Secretary, Ken helped to lead the United States energy efforts, which included overseeing the exploration and development of conventional and renewable energy resources on the nation's public lands and oceans and managing oil and gas leases - both on and off-shore. During his term he also oversaw the historic reorganization and reform of off-shore oil and gas regulations. In 2015 The National law Journal named Ken an Energy & Environmental Trailblazer, placing him as one of the top 50 business leaders in the energy and environmental space.
