Michael Weinberg, JD, ARP, is the President of The Weinberg Group, Inc. in Denver, CO. He works with individuals, families and businesses and their professional advisers to design and fund business succession and estate plans, and to place in the life settlement market existing insurance policies that are no longer necessary or desirable. Mr. Weinberg previously served as a tax attorney in the Office of Chief Counsel, Internal Revenue Service, New York City. He is both a former co-chair of the Insurance Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association and the editor emeritus of The Insurance Counselor primer series. After obtaining his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Minnesota, Mr. Weinberg received his JD from Harvard Law School.
