Bridge the Research and Analysis Gap: BRAG for Legal Support Staff

Dear Legal Support Staff,

This BRAG! Program was originally presented to law students approaching their
summer associate work. However, as an employee of CLE in Colorado, Inc. (and
an “old” paralegal), I decided to sit in on the presentation. That day in June, I
was transported back to my first paralegal position. I was new to the career and
ashamed to admit that I was scared of “legal research”. Eventually, I blundered
through research assignments and gained the research experience I needed. By
offering this program, I hope that others who are secretly “scared” by research
can avoid some of the same mistakes.

Additionally, those who are experienced in legal work can benefit from this
program. You will update your valuable research skills, and receive materials for
future reference. Updating your skills can breathe new life into your career. We
hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity.

Sincerely,
Linda Purdum
