Program Description

Welcome to the 2009 Employment Law Conference, sponsored by the CBA's Labor and Employment Law Section!

Every year, attendees return to the employment law conference for practical information taught by an expert faculty that includes prominent judges, distinguished employment law practitioners from both the plaintiff and defense bars, and experienced industry professionals.  Our faculty is balanced in its outlook and gives the conference's attendees truly valuable knowledge that they can put to use in their practices right away.

Our agenda includes the always useful case law update and ethics segments.  In addition, you will learn about new developments in the ADA and FMLA arenas, what's new in national origin and religious discrimination claims, useful Federal statutes that employment lawyers often overlook, and more. There is something in the conference for everyone!

Day one provides great general sessions that will benefit all of the attendees. Day two of the program provides you with two tracks of breakout sessions to choose from, allowing you to choose just the issues that interest you most!
