Tom Wilten is Vice President of Corporate Development at Qwest. His experience includes all facets of M&A, including deal sourcing, evaluation, financial and strategic impact analysis, business valuation, due diligence, and contract negotiation. His strategic planning experience includes long range financial planning, product development, market assessment, and organization design.
Jim Zerefos is a former Vice President, Law for Strategic Transactions, at Qwest. Jim has worked as transaction counsel on over $170 billion in deals, including in-house roles on sales of several of Colorado's former large cable and telecom companies. At Qwest, Jim was responsible for support of M&A, treasury, real estate, procurement and strategic contracts. Prior to that, Jim held a similar role at Adelphia Communications, joining after their bankruptcy filing and 2003 headquarters relocation to Denver. Jim also was in-house transactional counsel at AT&T Broadband, including for its auction sale to Time Warner and Comcast, and at MediaOne, including on its merger with AT&T.
