This CLE will discuss Colorado’s End-of-Life Options Act by providing a background and explanation of how the law functions. Paige Armstrong will provide an overview of the requirements for obtaining medical aid in dying medication, as well as discuss how Colorado’s End-of-Life Options Act compares to other states that have passed similar laws allowing terminally ill patients to end their lives. Meet Your Presenter
Paige Armstrong, Esq., is an associate attorney at Steenrod, Schwartz & McMinimee, LLP. Her practice focuses on probate litigation and estate and trust administration. Paige is a member of the Colorado, Denver, and the Colorado Women’s Bar Associations, and authored an article on Colorado’s End-of-Life Options Act in The Colorado Lawyer. Paige obtained her B.A. from Pepperdine University and her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
