The outdoor recreation industry in Colorado brings $10 billion annually to the state's economy. Participants routinely sign agreements waiving their rights, and their children's rights, to sue hunting guides, river guides, ski resorts, and rental shops. This program will provide an overview of the recreation industry in Colorado, the exculpatory agreements typically signed by participants, and an in-depth review of the law and public policy considerations surrounding their enforceability.

-When waivers are enforceable, and when they are not
