Program Description:
This presentation provides the information you need regarding the fiduciary responsibilities of your law firm's or your client's qualified retirement plan. Identifying and complying with fiduciary obligations is sometimes a confusing and complex process.
The discussion will cover who is a fiduciary and what actions should be taken to ensure a prudent process is in place for administering a retirement plan including information related to Qualified Default Investment Alternatives (QDIAs).

Randy is a Corporate Retirement Director (CRD) for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney's Corporate Client Group. Across the firm's 18,000 plus registered representatives, approximately 150 hold the CRD designation. Corporate Retirement Directors are MSSB's designated consultants for the firm's qualified retirement plan clients. Randy has access to the retirement plan tools, information and resources reserved for CRD's to provide retirement plan clients with the most complete suite of services available at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
Randy has been with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and predecessor firms for over 20 years, and has over 25 years of investment industry experience. Additionally, Randy holds the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS) designation from the College of Financial Planning.
