Notary Law
January 2005
This important new program focuses on the changes to Colorado's notary laws this year pursuant to H.B. 1300, with a specific focus on electronic notaries. Our experts from the Colorado Secretary of State's Office will guide you through where we are headed with the eNotarization project, including "PKI Light" as the most recent concept of a secure electronic signature. You will also learn how to deal with documents on a day-to-day basis, including requirements for e-filing, recording and searching. In addition, this program will also cover identity theft and fraud, particularly in the areas of real property and trust and estate. All attorneys and their support staff who are notaries should be current with these new requirements!
