C. Michael Montgomery graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, obtaining his J.D. degree in 1972. He is an associate member of the Virginia State bar and an active member of the Colorado and Wyoming bars. Mr. Montgomery has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court; the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth, Ninth, Tenth, and Federal Circuits; the U.S. Court of Federal Claims; and numerous United States District Courts. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the American Bar Association, the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, and the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association (president, 1989 to 1990). Mr. Montgomery has extensive trial experience. Jury trials to verdict include anti-trust, securities fraud, commercial disputes, patent infringement, environmental, medical malpractice, toxic tort, and product liability.
