How Green Can You Be? The FTC Green Guides and the Perils of Green Claims - LIVE IN DENVER
Program Description:
Green sells. Everywhere you look companies are making claims about how environmentally friendly their products are. “Natural,” “recyclable,” and “energy efficient” products can command a higher price and are considered more desirable by many consumers. The increase in such claims has led to a flood of consumer fraud cases, enforcement actions by the FTC, and class action litigation. In this program, Colin Deihl will discuss which claims can be made and which arise to the actionable level. He will discuss the FTC's green guides and related private litigation.
Presented by Colin Deihl, Esq.
