BAPCPA and the U.S. Supreme Court - An Update
Program Description:
This past term the U.S. Supreme Court heard and decided four cases involving bankruptcy questions. Several of these decisions provide much needed guidance and understanding of the changes brought on by BAPCPA. The program will provide a review of these four decisions.

Kimberley H. Tyson, Esq. is a director with Ireland, Stapleton, Pryor & Pascoe, P.C. and concentrates her practice in workouts, bankruptcy, and related commercial litigation. She represents secured creditors, creditors committees, trustees, unsecured creditors, and purchasers in complex bankruptcies. She is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute as well as the Colorado Bar Association's Bankruptcy Subcommittee and is a past chair of the Subcommittee. Ms. Tyson is a co-author of several publications and a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy issues. In 1987, she received her law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law. She is a former law clerk to the Honorable John K. Pearson of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Kansas and to the Honorable Jerry G. Elliott of the Kansas Court of Appeals.
