About the Faculty:
Thomas Macdonald is a shareholder and director of Otten, Johnson, Robinson, Neff & Ragonetti, P.C., where he specializes in real estate and land use. He has substantial experience in all areas of real estate law, with particular emphasis in real estate lending, and in foreclosures, workouts and bankruptcies. He also represents public and private sector clients in complex litigation involving land use and governmental regulation. He is a frequent lecturer at land use and real estate seminars. He received his law degree and his B.A. from the University of Colorado. He authored the chapter on Colorado law for the book Development Impact Fees in the Rocky Mountain Region, Second Edition, published by the Rocky Mountain Land Use Institute, and a chapter on Real Estate Transactions in Lawyers' Professional Liability in Colorado (2d ed. Michael T. Mihm, ed., Supp. 2011). Chambers USA has consistently ranked Tom as one of the top land use lawyers in Colorado.
